Public sources only — competitor websites, pricing and product pages, job listings, review sites, news and public social activity. Nothing is scraped from behind a login, and every finding records the source it came from so you can check it yourself.

How is this different from setting up alerts?

Alerts tell you something was published. Rivalr verifies that something actually changed, scores how credible and how fresh it is, and connects it to what the same competitor did before. A pricing page edit and a filed trademark are different kinds of evidence, and they are weighted differently.

Do the predictions actually get more accurate?

That is the design. Predictions carry a confidence score and a date, and when they resolve the outcome feeds back into how confidence is scored for similar signals. The instrument calibrates against its own record, so a workspace that has been running for months reads its competitors better than one that started last week.

What do you need from me to start?

Your website. Rivalr reads it to work out what you sell and who you compete with, suggests competitors, and starts recording. You can correct anything it infers.

Can other companies see my data?

Accepted Answer

No. Every workspace is isolated at the database level, and every query is scoped to your workspace on the server — never in the browser. Your competitor list and findings are yours alone.

What happens when the trial ends?

Accepted Answer

Nothing is deleted and nothing is charged. The trial runs 14 days with 3 competitors and no card. If you do not continue, your workspace simply stops scanning.
